1955 Ford Crown Victoria Skyliner

We almost had this outstanding glass roof Vicki available several months ago. She's from an estate. The surviving son was driving her to us when he turned around and drove home. He just couldn't part with the car his late father had so lovingly cared for.

His dad bought the car some years before and spent his days tweaking this already stunning Crown Victoria Skyliner - and it shows. Our mechanical inspection showed very minor issues, which we are taking care of - alignment and adjusting the steering box. Everything else is fine. The brakes show less than 20% wear, the fluids are fresh and the engine runs smoothly and cool. The Coker Classic P205/75R15 wide white wall tires have 10-11/32's tread left. There are two spare tires - one in the trunk and one in the continental kit - along with the jack and tire iron.

The metal body has excellent adhesion everywhere and the paint is B+ with no significant defects. The chrome, stainless, seals, gaskets, bushings and glass are great. Even the “basket handle” roof trim is wonderful. The green plexiglass forward top has minor abrasions, but nothing serious or easily noticed.

The interior is amazing in its original, near perfect condition with all working gauges and accessories -except the original radio. Even the overhead cloth to cover the plexi roof looks and functions as new. WOW!!

As mentioned before, the original 272 CID, 173 HP V-8 engine and drive train are in excellent condition. Note the 3-speed Ford-O-Matic transmission that shifts smoothly.

All in all this is a great car and she may be your perfect glass top, basket roof Vicki. Come and inspect her for yourself. You won't be disappointed at all. And you will see, that compared with its competition, the price is right and the value is great. See you soon.

  3. The full balance is due within three (3) business days of agreeing to purchase the vehicle.

  4. If financing, please make sure that your financial institution will finance this vehicle before bidding.

  5. We require deposit of and verification of bank funds before we will release the vehicle to you.

  6. The buyer is responsible for the prompt pickup or shipping of the vehicle. Failure to pick up the vehicle within 15 days will result in storage fees and/or vehicle resale. We will be happy to arrange the shipping on your behalf.
