1965 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

Here’s a ’65 Sting Ray to judge others by.  The body of this matching numbers car was restored by RM Restorations in Chatham, ONT. The body is beautiful from every angle. The chassis was also restored by Werner Meier of Masterworks. This work is flawless too.  Every inch of the car is as outstanding as its two restorers are known for.

Even with this Vette’s pedigree and extensive documentation, we took her in trade only after our thorough inspection.  The front and rear suspension components are new including the shocks, a-arms, tie rods, all bushings, the rear axle and differential cross member. Also new are the bearings, u-joints, transmission yoke and the steering gear.  Brake and fuel lines are new too.  Add to that new rotor assemblies, calipers, pads 4-wheel alignment, Michelin Symmetry 205/70R15 radials tires, and so much more!

Her original 327/350HP V8 has been blueprinted and has a new fuel pump, starter, plug wires with completely new heat shielding, powder coated manifold and new NOS Holley 650 CFM 4-BBL carburetor. The newly rebuilt original 4-speed manual transmission and 3.36:1 factory rear end complete the drive line.

The interior is new…and flawless…to original specifications, with leather surfaces.  The glass, chrome, seals and gaskets are perfect too.  Everything - including the accessories - work perfectly.  The soft top is great too.

Top all that off with a teak wheel, factory telescoping steering column, power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, an AM/FM radio, factory-style knock off wheels and a luggage rack.  Now you’re ready to win the trophy and speed into the sunset.

As perfect as she arrived, our detailer still carefully cleaned every inch of this ’65 making her sparkle even more!  As you can see by zooming in on any of our pictures, everything will pass your up-close and personal on site inspection – with no excuses!

With less than 4100 gentle miles since restoration, we don’t know what would make this contender more perfect…except you owning this remarkable investment-classic.

  1. There is a $180 documentation fee for the preparation & delivery of all the necessary sales paperwork.

  2. A deposit of 10% of the purchase price, or the deposit listed in the ad (whichever is less), is due within 24 hours of agreeing to purchase the vehicle. We accept Visa or MasterCard, and PayPal for vehicle deposits (up to 10% of the purchase price).

  3. The full balance is due within three (3) business days of agreeing to purchase the vehicle.

  4. If financing, please make sure that your financial institution will finance this vehicle before bidding.

  5. We require deposit of and verification of bank funds before we will release the vehicle to you.

  6. The buyer is responsible for the prompt pickup or shipping of the vehicle. Failure to pick up the vehicle within 15 days will result in storage fees and/or vehicle resale. We will be happy to arrange the shipping on your behalf.
