What is it, an ambulance? Nope!

It's a Sedan Delivery - Ford's Courier, the fun-2-run all-purpose utility vehicle (AUV) of the `50's. She's been our go-to-car-show vehicle for a year. We've enjoyed her dependability and her flat spacious rear deck.

She came to us via a wine and cheese shop that used her for deliveries. This Courier would serve well in that kind of capacity again - as an about-town signature piece for a business - perhaps yours.

Mechanically this classic is in excellent shape. The 292CID V-8 engine starts easily and runs well with an updated carburetor for better performance. The three-on-the-tree manual transmission shifts smoothly. The electronic overdrive is not currently connected. The brakes are firm and she handles very well. The Winfield P225/75R15 blackwalls provide a smooth ride.

Our delivery is a very solid vehicle with no real issues. She's a solid driver that you can drive anywhere and proudly display at your local show. The paint is good but not flawless. The chrome and stainless trim show well. The interior seats two to three up front and about all the gear you can imagine behind. All the features work. The glass is good. The fabric door seals are fair.

With pristine versions of the classic currently selling up to the mid-30's, we're offering a real bargain at $15,500. So, come inspect our Sedan Delivery, load up this ½ ton with antiques from our neighboring stores and have a great drive home. See you soon!

  • An agreement to purchase a vehicle is made when the purchase price of the vehicle is agreed upon by both parties.  Upon this agreement:

  1. There is a $180 documentation fee for the preparation & delivery of all the necessary sales paperwork.

  2. A deposit of 10% of the purchase price, or the deposit listed in the ad (whichever is less), is due within 24 hours of agreeing to purchase the vehicle. We accept Visa or MasterCard, and PayPal for vehicle deposits (up to 10% of the purchase price).

  3. The full balance is due within three (3) business days of agreeing to purchase the vehicle.

  4. If financing, please make sure that your financial institution will finance this vehicle before bidding.

  5. We require deposit of and verification of bank funds before we will release the vehicle to you.

  6. The buyer is responsible for the prompt pickup or shipping of the vehicle. Failure to pick up the vehicle within 15 days will result in storage fees and/or vehicle resale. We will be happy to arrange the shipping on your behalf.

  7. If you are not sure about something.  PLEASE ASK!  Do not assume anything.
