1963 Ford Thunderbird Convertible

We're often asked by perspective buyers what one improvement we'd make to a car we're selling. In this case the answer is simple. The color of the roadster cover - the bat cover - is a skosh ( just very little bit off) the rest of the car. It can be matched perfectly if that's important, but you will never notice the variation in most light.

Otherwise there are few Birds in more perfect condition. We welcome your up-close inspection of every aspect of this car. She is correctly restored to factory specifications using genuine Ford or OEM-spec parts. Nothing was overlooked or under done. Body stampings are correct. Colors and accessories match the trim plate.

Our Bird's 390 CID V-8 engine and 3-speed automatic Power Glide transmission are original, correctly rebuilt and running as new. Brakes have minor wear and the P205/75R 14 radial Coker Classic wide white wall tires are excellent. Note the spare and full set of tools in the trunk. The suspension is in great condition too.

Perhaps the only thing keeping this from being a #1 car is the underside, which is very well detailed, but the original red oxide under paint was painted - not coated - black.

As you can see the body is stunning and next to flawless. All the chrome and stainless trim are as new along with all gaskets, bushing, seals and window felt. Alignment and fitment of the body panels are excellent - exceeding anything the factory expected when new. The top is correct and works with ease - which is better than new - with new wiring, relays and contacts. The glass is excellent. The body is outstanding! Come see for yourself.

If anything out does the body, it's the interior. Just look at those perfect gauges, dash and trim. Then view the carpet, the seat surfaces. Even the crevices are dirt and lint-free. WOW! All the accessories, the horn, locks, wipers, gauges work as new along with the electrical system.

This car needs nothing….nothing but you to take her home. Come inspect her and take her home. Or we'll arrange delivery to your door.

  1. There is a $180 documentation fee for the preparation & delivery of all the necessary sales paperwork.

  2. A deposit of 10% of the purchase price, or the deposit listed in the ad (whichever is less), is due within 24 hours of agreeing to purchase the vehicle. We accept Visa or MasterCard, and PayPal for vehicle deposits (up to 10% of the purchase price).

  3. The full balance is due within three (3) business days of agreeing to purchase the vehicle.

  4. If financing, please make sure that your financial institution will finance this vehicle before bidding.

  5. We require deposit of and verification of bank funds before we will release the vehicle to you.

  6. The buyer is responsible for the prompt pickup or shipping of the vehicle. Failure to pick up the vehicle within 15 days will result in storage fees and/or vehicle resale. We will be happy to arrange the shipping on your behalf.

  7. If you are not sure about something.  PLEASE ASK!  Do not assume anything.
